WinchRite Cordless Winch Handle was first introduced at the 2010 Miami International Boat Show. It was entered in the NMMA innovation awards for new gear and won top honor for innovative products.
Since then we have made many improvements to the product, most notably the Bushless Motor Technology. This has resulted in a zero motor failure rate with much greater efficiency of power and battery use, run time, life span.
Gearbox tolerances have been reduced to create a tighter final gear mesh. With the extremely low gear ratio of the planetary gear box this combination results in a 100ft/lb’s of final torque.
Battery is a Lit-ion 22.2 V and is made up of two sets of cells to double the capacity. Two sets of cells is series creating the operating Voltage-Then the two set are combined in parallel to create the overall capacity.
Device is equipped with a smart speed controller that is programmed with a soft start feature to allow for smooth start ups and better control.
We have added as standard accessory a 12v to 110v inverter that allow for 12v charging with the A/C charger. Will also charge a cell with the USB port.
Drive Cogs are redesigned in 2024 with a shoulder ring to prevent the cog from dropping into the winch and better vibration control with top alignment. No come standard with new units.
